The decoration in the apartment was absolutely charming, with comfortable furniture and beautiful artwork on the walls. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and provided a cozy atmosphere. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. There were no stairs to climb and everything was conveniently located on the ground floor, making it easy for me to navigate.
The only thing that could have made the vacation better for senior people would be if there were more activities catered specifically towards our age group. Perhaps some organized outings or social events for seniors would have been nice.

This apartment was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was super beautiful and calm, with a jaw-dropping view of the harbor and classic yachts. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel like VIP guests. The small village had nice bars and great restaurants within a short walk. The apartment itself was clean, bright, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the free Wi-Fi and the flat-screen TV. The off-site car park was convenient, and there were plenty of outdoor activities nearby, such as hiking, cycling, fishing, and more. We were also impressed by the 24-hour security and the luggage storage options. our stay was unforgettable and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Thank you so much, Joke and Peter, for an amazing experience!

The Port Room at Apartments Waterland is absolutely charming! I loved waking up to the view of the port right outside my window. It felt like I was in a cozy little world of my own. The private entrance gave me a sense of independence and made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. Plus, having a kitchen was so convenient for whipping up quick meals.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the bathroom. It had both a shower and a bath, which some people might love, but I personally prefer just a shower.

The stunning countryside and picturesque villages made it an ideal area for biking. We also loved the opportunity to try windsurfing and diving, which were popular activities in the area. And we couldn't get enough of the old cargo sailing ships - they added a touch of historical charm to our family adventure.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities in the area.

We had a memorable stay at the charming attic room, with a view of the yacht harbour. the setup made our 3-year-old daughter feel like she was Cinderella. the quiet surroundings and peaceful neighborhood added to the enchanting atmosphere. the proximity to the old town with its cozy pubs along the canals was a delightful bonus. Plus, being just a short distance from the beautiful city of Amsterdam made exploring the area even more fantastic.
Felt like our own home, no complaints.

The vintage furniture and beautiful paintings made me feel right at home. The hotel's general areas were very well-maintained and clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere for seniors like me. , the hotel's accessibility for senior people was impressive. There were conveniently placed handrails throughout the corridors and the staff was always willing to assist the older guests.
The only thing I wished for during my vacation as a senior was a more comfortable seating area in the lobby. The children working there were delightful, but the chairs were a bit too low for me to sit comfortably.

Splendid accommodation with beautiful views over the harbor and water. Enjoyed cycling, fishing, and canoeing in the surroundings. A one-of-a-kind experience with picturesque houses and old cargo sailing ships. Schiphol Airport is nearby.
Just loved dealing with the fiddly admin and the lack of toiletries, because who needs convenience when you're on vacation, right?

Stayed at a splendid apartment with great views. Enjoyed cycling, fishing, and canoeing in the surroundings. Lots of good restaurants to eat at. The old cargo sailing ships were a unique experience. Cons: So disappointing that the shop closed early. Really ruined my day.
